Moksha Yoga Milton and Wellness invites you to join us for “A Costa Rica retreat” at Blue Spirit, a world class yoga and meditation retreat center in beautiful Nosara, Costa. Relax, renew and reconnect with your mind, body and soul in one of the most incredible physical settings you will ever experience. Our amazing yoga and wellness team of Lisa, Jose, Christine and Greg have put together a fabulous retreat package that includes a mix of challenging but accessible daily yoga classes and mindfulness meditation practice.

Enjoy individual and communal wellness and healing treatments from the team such as Acupuncture and Reiki, while also experiencing some of the most nutritious and delicious foods Costa Rica has to offer.

This experience of a liftetime is designed to truly meet your needs and desires. In addition to the wonderful array of mind/body practices there will be plenty of opportunity to explore both your adventurous side with optional excursions as well as find time and space to connect inward with yourself, listening to and honoring your body, mind and soul. THE YOGA WELLNESS EXPERIENCE INCLUDES :

NATURE SUITES w/AC (5 rooms available – 1 room single occupancy, 4 rooms double occupancy)A/C. Private Bath. King size bed or 2 Twin beds.The suites are cozy and situated on a hillside overlooking lush vegetation. They feature private bathrooms and a outdoor shower overlooking the jungle. Each suite sleeps two people, has a separate enclosed porch with a desk, and a solar hot water system. The suites are a short walk up the hill to the main building. HERMITAGE ROOM w/AC (4 rooms available – also (1 room single occupancy, 3 rooms double occupancy)A/C. Private Bath. Queen size bed or 2 Twin beds These rooms are specifically designed for singles, providing privacy and elegance, while being inexpensive. Some rooms have partial views of the ocean or some of the mountains nearby. A private bathroom with solar hot water and natural ventilation system. ECO COTTAGE no AC (3 rooms available – 1 room single occupancy, 2 rooms double occupancy)With private bath & 2 twin bedsThe cottages are situated in lush vegetation, and their natural wood frame structure allow for a sensual being-in-touch experience with nature. Each cottage sleeps two people and has a private bathroom with ambient temperature water shower. Everything runs on solar powered electricity to provide an ecological setting. Cottages are at a short hike up a stone stairway from the main building. A gratuity of $60 for service staff is added at check-out as an optional charge for each person staying at Blue Spirit.

TRAVEL INFO: We have a wonderful travel agent Lindsay Adler from the Flight Centre in Burlington that will take care of you. You always have the option of booking your own flight. We would just ask that you do everything in your power to be at Blue Spirit by 8:00 pm on May 4th (start of the retreat)

SHUTTLE SERVICE:When you arrive you should allow 30 – 60 minutes to go through immigration, customs and baggage claim.Blue Spirit has multiple shuttles picking participants up at the Liberia Airport on Saturdays ONLY from 12-4pm and then 7-8:30pm and they will depart as they fill. (Recommended to arrive around 12pm-1pm to Liberia so you get the first shuttle)For your departure, there are several group shuttle services departing Blue Spirit between 4:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. You should plan to be at the airport two hours before your flight departs. (Recommended you leave Liberia around noon)Shuttle price: $60 CASH per person each way at the time of the service. The price of the shuttle can not be added to the room price or expenses under your reservation.

GREG KLYM, 500-hour YTT Mindfulness Based Wellness

Coach Greg is a certified Moksha yoga instructor, meditation facilitator and mindfulness coach.Greg has a passion for helping people transform their lives. He firmly believes that when we are fully supported and given the right tools and resources we can begin to free ourselves from habitual patterns, limiting beliefs and emotional wounds of the past that prevent us from living the abundant and joyful life we were meant to live. Having gone through his own healing and transformative journey he is extremely committed and excited to help people travel that same path to a happier, healthier and more fulfilled life.Greg brings a blend of ‘being’ and ‘doing’ to the yoga and coaching experience. He has a passion and dedication to his own mindfulness practice but also is committed to helping others integrate the practice for greater well being, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

JOSE DOS ANJOS 500-hour YTT/200hour Flow instructor

Jose attended his first yoga class over twelve years ago and has been hooked ever since! He has been teaching children’s yoga for five years and finished the Moksha training in Brazil in 2015. Jose’s teaching emphasizes the connection of a present mind in the moment of movement and the connection of breath to movement in the body.He has been fortunate enough to learn from some amazing teachers; Ted Grand, Jess Robertson, Frank Jude Boccio, Pierre Desjardins, Michael Stone and Aruna Humphreys and is continually amazed at the power of yoga to transform people’s lives. Jose is also a musician and a Dad to three of the most amazing kids in the world.

LISA CASARIN, 500-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher 200 Vinyasa Flow teacher R.M.T. CPTN.RAC ReflexologistLisa originally from the UK completed her Moksha Yoga Teacher Training Program in Nicaragua. She returned back to Nicaragua in Feb 2017 to complete her Moksha Flow training!Lisa’s passion for yoga truly radiates in her classes, she truly embraces the mind body spirit connection.As an RMT she also has an extensive background in the healthcare industry, with physical modalities such as massage therapy, reflexology, and acupuncture. Her passion is making a difference in community, “it’s awesome watching people on their yoga/healing journeys. I feel very blessed to have found my calling as a teacher and a healer.” Graduating from Kikkawa College Toronto in 2002, Lisa has worked in the Health and Fitness industry for over 25 years, she has enjoyed practicing Massage Therapy working with numerous clients in various multidisciplinary clinics.Experience, intuition, and numerous training courses, enable Lisa to create customized private yoga sessions and healing treatment plans that are unique to each individual yogi/client. These customized plans promote and enhance optimal wellness for her clients.As a daily yoga practitioner, and former International Athlete, Lisa is familiar with associated sports injuries and mis-alignment conditions bringing this awareness to her yoga classes!

Dr. Christine Mangubat, B.P.E (Kin), DC., D. Ac., A.R.TDr. Mangubat will be offering daily Chiropractic, ART treatments and acupuncture sessions during your stay at Blue Spirit. Dr. Mangubat holds a Kinesiology degree from the University of New Brunswick – where she was a varsity athlete, playing competitive level volleyball. She also attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where she earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2006. Dr. Mangubat sees patients with conditions ranging from acute injuries to degenerative diseases, but she has a special interest in sports injuries and women’s health and wellness. Additionally, she has post-graduate training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). She utilizes various taping techniques with Kinesiotape and RockTape. Dr. Mangubat is a mother of two beautiful children, aged 7 and 9 years, and has lived in the Milton community for 10 years. She has practiced yoga for over 20 years. She has a love for the outdoors and enjoys hiking with her family, running, rock climbing, and playing beach volleyball
